DMB | Allegan Street Parking Ramp Lansing, Michigan This project was comprised of the reconstruction of an existing state-owned
700,000 SF underground (2 levels) parking structure and an above ground plaza/walkway facing the state's Capitol Building. Work included the demolition and reconstruction of all supported concrete decks, beams, and columns - while the parking structure was still being used. Work was completed in phases to accommodate daily usage.
The entire "top-side" plaza was rebuilt and re-landscaped, providing state
employees and visitors an aesthetically pleasing environment in which
to relax and enjoy the outdoors while experiencing a panoramic view of
Michigan's Capitol Building.
