This project entailed the renovation of approximately 72,000 SF of the
existing Peale Science Center and the construction of a new 80,000 SF
addition to the building. All work was geared to accommodate Hope College's ever-growing, nationally recognized science program.
Granger's In-House Functions Division was especially helpful in
overseeing the renovation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and
HVAC systems to the 30-year-old facility.
This $29 million project included faculty offices, advanced research
laboratories, teaching classrooms and instructional laboratories for
chemistry, organic chemistry, psychology, geology, and nursing
programs, plus plenty of quality space to encourage all disciplines to
interact and exchange information in relaxed, comfortable settings.
