JW Marriott Hotel and Parking Ramp
Grand Rapids, Michigan

Serving as a subcontractor, Granger Construction is responsible for construction of foundations and reinforced concrete frame for the new 22-story JW Marriott Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

When completed, the concrete frame will total approximately 400,000 square feet. Essential to the effective placement of concrete on this high-rise structure is a self-climbing form system for the pouring of shear walls and the critical stair/elevator core, central to the structure.

Completion of the hotel's concrete frame is scheduled for early November 2006.

Granger Construction is also serving as the subcontractor responsible for the concrete frame for the 10-level parking ramp that will be located adjacent to the JW Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
