This project involves the addition of two new floors over existing buildings and the renovation of the existing medical/surgical patient rooms. The two new floors will house 38 new private patient rooms for medical/surgical care as well as special pediatric and joint rehabilitation areas. The existing second floor rooms will be renovated to be 12 private rooms for intensive care (ICU) and 9 private rooms for telemetry use. The rooms were designed to have the feel of staying in a cozy, luxurious hotel while still incorporating all of the most recent technological advances in medicine for each specific unit. The rooms will offer many amenities for patients and visitors including internet capabilities, a desktop, wardrobe, make-up area, sofa bed and flat screen television in each patient room. There will be a roof patio located at each new floor for patient and visitor use.
