Pfizer Power Plant Expansion Ann Arbor , Michigan
This $14.2 million project increased the capabilities
of Pfizer's Central Power Plant to provide heating, cooling, and
electrical service to their new buildings on campus. The work included
the installation of (2) 60,000 lb./HR packaged boilers, (2) 2,000 ton
steam-driven chillers, (2) 3,825 ton cooling towers, 25 pumps, new
deaerator and surge tanks, new electrical substations and motor control
centers. The project also entailed the installation of new
state-of-the-art computers and process controls.
