Part of a ten-year approximate $150 million phased expansion program,
Granger is presently serving as the Program Manager and ConstructionManager for the expansion of Sparrow's new 400,000 SF, eleven-story West-Wing Addition.
The new addition will house 6 operating rooms initially and is sized for 22 total when ultimately built out. It also includes adjacent patient
preparatory and recovery areas, as well as a new Emergency Department
with 75 treatment bays, a new 34 bed ICU | CCU Department, a new cardiology floor, a new Central Utility Plant with related utility tunnels and a new 6-level (1200 vehicle) parking structure (completed in 2003) connected to the hospital.
Finally, the expansion includes the creation of a new, easy-to-access formal entrance to the hospital.
