Granger's General Contracting Division was hired to address the construction of this new 40,000 SF home which impacts the lives of over 2,000 abused children and their families on an annual basis. Owned by Catholic Social Services, the new home offers a safe and secure environment in which to serve the healing needs of children in crises 4-17 years of age.
$4 million facility features private rooms for the compassionate care of sexually abused children, secured areas for improved management of children with behavioral problems, pod-type comfortable living / recreation sections with common areas surrounded by private bedrooms, an increased number of classrooms and expanded medical facilities.
Established in 1951, the previous home's aging infrastructure mandated improvements as it became increasingly challenging to house children in a safe and secure environment.
