DELIVERING REMARKABLE BUILDINGS SINCE 1960

Bond Campaign

Williamston Community Schools recently ran a bond campaign where 77% of the voters favored the $24.55 million proposal. They did so after defeating a similar proposal earlier, and receiving their tax bills only days prior to the election. I’ve been told by bondsmen that Williamston’s proposal is the only one of substance that passed in Michigan this fall, and that they have never seen such a large margin of victory. How did this happen? Many reasons, but all factors center and focus around the creative and articulate work of Granger’s Communications Department. Their expertise and skills were essential in Williamston Community Schools’ bond campaigning success. Thanks to Granger Construction for allowing them to be ours from the beginning all the way through the end.

As the Ann Arbor Public School District embarks on one of its most ambitious facility upgrades in its history, I wanted to send you a letter to let you know that these projects would not be a reality if it wasn’t for the support of Granger’s Communications Department.

With the knowledge and expertise Granger’s Communications Department brought to the table, we mapped out a strategy that put us on the road to success. It was reassuring that the folks from Granger shared so unselfishly. I have personally been doing millage campaigns for over 20 years. Working with Granger Construction on our last two campaigns has been some of the most pleasurable experiences I’ve had in the arena of public campaigns. I give my highest endorsement and thanks to the entire Granger Construction crew as a competent, experienced and dedicated team.

Granger’s Communications Department secured your firm’s selection during the interview process. Their excitement and creativity came through as precisely what we needed to ensure passage of our bond. During the campaign, their skills, contagious enthusiasm and exceptional organizational skills led our all-volunteer effort to win our March 12th election by a margin never anticipated. But they weren’t done yet; they stood with us from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting ensuring that no detail was overlooked. Our dedication and open house weekend, completely orchestrated by Granger, was poetry in motion. Granger’s Communications Department delivered for us every step of the way.

Mason Public Schools completed a successful bond proposal campaign in mid-June with the approval of seventy-two percent of the voters. Our success, of course, was a result of a unified team effort. I am writing to compliment Granger’s Communications Department for the vital role it played in our success. They provided invaluable guidance in regards to the development of a successful communications plan. They were extremely responsive to the district’s needs and the quality of the work they produced and the turn arund times were outstanding. We, at Mason Public Schools, look forward to working with Granger Construction, as we transition to the construction phase of the project. Again, we appreciate the contributions Granger’s Communications Department made to our success.

On behalf of the Board of Education and Citizens’ Committee, Orchard View Schools would like to thank Granger’s Communications Department for your outstanding service that contributed to our successful bond vote issue. I really appreciated the way they developed a marketing plan in concert with our citizens that stressed the positive aspects of Orchard View Schools. It was no easy task to convince voters to raise their taxes by seven mills and with your creativity, dedication and commitment, we were successful in our campaign.

The Communications Department at Granger Construction played a key role in the passage of the $73,500,000 bond issue for Holt Public Schools. Their personal expertise, which helped us to develop ideas for communication, produce scripts and create materials, quickly earned the gratitude and respect of the entire bond team. The ideas and products they presented were responsive to the team directions and were at the quality level of a professional communications firm.
