DELIVERING REMARKABLE BUILDINGS SINCE 1960 |

Corporate HeadquartersPlease accept Jackson National Life’s sincere appreciation for Granger’s remarkable delivery of our new, state-of-the-art Remote Data Center. Without the cooperation, coordination and hard work of all involved, this project would not have gone as smoothly or met our aggressive timetable. Please keep in mind that one of the challenges created by your team’s exceptional performance is that we’ll now expect Granger to meet similar demanding timeframes on future JNL projects. In short, your team on this project Set the Bar in defining future performance excellence. Dennis Blue, Director of Corporate Services Corporations have only a handful of opportunities to significantly and positively transform the quality of life in their hometown. In the case of CMS Energy and Consumers Energy, our partnership with Granger Construction Company has been one of these unique life-changing opportunities. Our management team chose to retain Granger to provide overall leadership for the construction of our new, downtown Jackson headquarters because of Granger’s well-founded reputation for quality, integrity and getting the job done on time and on budget. Granger’s team came through with flying colors. Carl L. English Granger’s Communications Department consistently lent its professionalism and considerable energy to maximize the positive communications impact throughout the various phases of our unique headquarters project. Granger is fortunate to have people with such high dedication and commitment to total customer satisfaction. As you know, the headquarters project has created quite a bit of outstanding media coverage in the construction trade press and in the Jackson media market. Much of this has been accomplished with the able help and leadership of Granger’s Communications Department. Daniel C. Bishop Your project team led by example with a contagious “can-do” attitude and reinforced this partnering spirit and quality mindset through proactive management, ongoing measurements/benchmarking (mock-ups) and milestone celebrations. I found this to be far superior to many traditional construction companies that basically rely on policies, systems and procedures. As deadlines loomed, you were able to lift the human spirit of all the varied tradesmen and channel their energies in the right direction. These efforts made a world of difference in sustaining the hectic project momentum throughout the project and contributed to the project’s ultimate success. Andrew B. Hopping, Executive Vice-President/CFO Granger exceeded our expectations by providing outstanding leadership that guided the construction process and partnership relationships. I am pleased to say that the project was completed without a major problem of conflict. Throughout the project, Granger was totally committed to the needs and requirements of General Motors and also handled its dealings with the Charter Township of Grand Blanc in a very effective and professional manner.
