Earth Day is Sunday, April 22. One of the foremost ways the construction industry attempts to support the environment is through LEED — the most widely used green building rating system in the world.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is a program run by the U.S. Green Building Council that provides certification for buildings that have a reduced environmental impact. A structure can earn a designation of  LEED Platinum, Gold, Silver or Certified depending on how environmentally-friendly the design is.

Granger has completed numerous LEED projects throughout its history. In honor of Earth Day, check out the gallery of some of these LEED-certified projects below!
