Youth for Christ (YFC) is a nonprofit, non-denominational Christian youth organization working with high school and junior high students. Central Michigan Youth for Christ sees more than 250 young people weekly and saw 609 different youths the year prior to building the new community center (according to the executive director at the time of construction, Mike Falder).

To help meet growing needs, Granger built YFC’s new 18,000 Square foot community center. This was a 18,000 square foot, pre-engineered metal building with concrete foundation and masonry wainscot. The facility houses a basketball court with special athletic floor, skating area and kitchen for area youths from sixth grade through high school.

  • YFC dreamed and planned for this building, raising funds through donations for
    four years.
  • Granger’s project team overcame challenges of increased construction costs and a tight budget for this project.
