In July of 2008, Dan Henry Distributing partnered with Granger for a 50,000 square foot warehouse renovation and 3,000 square feet of office space while the facility remained in operation.

The main goal of the renovation was to provide a drive-thru to the warehouse for loading delivery trucks while separating the warehouse storage. Since the site gave access for in-bound delivery trucks and fleet of local delivery vehicles, it had to be reconfigured.

Project Features included the following:

  • new roof structure and roof system
  • New perimeter walls
  • Demolition of 10,000 square feet of the warehouse to allow for a more efficient use of parking and truck access for truck delivery and loading
  • A warehouse addition of 35,000 square feet for product storage
  • Six new loading docks
