From February of 1998 to June of 1999, Granger Construction served as the Construction Management partner on a major renovation and addition project for the Foote Memorial Hospital Labor and Delivery Department (now Henry Ford Allegiance Health) in Jackson, Michigan.

Renovations on this project included:

  • 10 bed Special Care Nursery
  • Mother-Baby Unit
  • Entire fourth floor
  • Surgery
  • ICU
  • CCU
  • Step Down Units

During the project, Granger’s team built a new C-Section suite, and used an existing Surgery suite on the third floor as a temporary C-Section suite during construction.

The team constructed eight new birthing rooms, complete with automatic lighting and whirlpool tubs.

With the help of AC3, Foote Hospital Staff and the State of Michigan Health Department, Granger also re-designed the Special Care Nursery.
