In fall of 1980, Granger Construction began a major construction and renovation project in Ingham County for the Ingham County Jail 55th District Court.
This project involved 92,000 SF in new construction and 62,000 SF in renovations to the existing facility:
- 263 new single occupancy cells
- 25 new special and holding cells
- 90 renovated cells (housing security levels one-five)
