The Newaygo County Jail’s 39,100 SF renovation and expansion project included construction of office space for the Sheriff’s Office and was completed in three phases.
The first phase consisted of constructing a 32,500 SF addition for the jail and Sheriff’s Office as well as a 1,500 SF intake addition.

The second phase involved 5,100 SF of interior renovations to the existing jail.

The third and final phase focused on the demolition of the existing Sheriff’s Office.
