Granger completed the construction of two additions, two renovations and expansion of site infrastructure as part of this project while the existing facility was under operation at all times.

The major work included a 162-bed medium and maximum security addition.

Upgrade of the complete security system from pressure switch to touch screen technology.

Upgrade of the complete temperature control system.

The kitchen, laundry, swap garage and maintenance rooms were all expanded.

Renovations included expansion of the medical records department and exam rooms, as well as a new juvenile intake and holding area.

Upgrades in technology and construction allowed the existing facility to double the amount of inmates housed without the need to double the staffing required.
