Awarded based on the teams outstanding performance of the client’s Enterprise DataCenter 1 (a twin facility located in-state), this is an Uptime Tier 3 classified facility, with 2N redundancy for power and N+1 for mechanical systems.

This multi-phased project included design and construction of a new, single-story facility housing four 10,000 SF data halls and office space for 17 full-time staff. Phase 1 & 2 involved critical systems necessary to support 4 MW of critical IT load in data halls 1 and 2. Data halls 3 and 4 are available shell space for future IT expansion. Constructed on a registered landfill site; the project team designed and built multiple environmental solutions including utility trench liner systems, vapor intrusion systems, soil and leachate containments and a leachate collection system.

An alternate deep foundation system was implemented called “Dynamic Compaction”. This solution in lieu of auger cast piles reduced environmental impacts to the landfill and saved
the client $1.5 million.
