“Granger worked closely with the structural engineers, equipment suppliers and owner representatives during the design process to help develop a final set of shop drawings for the placement of the concrete foundations, walls and piers that would support the shredder equipment and conveyor system. The structural concrete team rose to the occasion and delivered exceptional results on these key portions of the project, meeting or exceeding all specifications and strict tolerances of ¼” or less in many instances. Some of the equipment installers even commented that Granger’s high-quality work led to an unusually smooth installation process. Throughout construction, decisions were being made as designs were evolving. While this was challenging for Granger’s field team, they were always solution-focused and able to make the necessary adjustments to maintain the production schedule and the overall project schedule. The Granger team displayed a high level of flexibility and ingenuity as it had to continually adapt to changes and re-sequence portions of the work. Their expertise and input throughout design and construction was instrumental in maintaining the budget and schedule and, more importantly, in overcoming complex challenges to deliver a high-quality product for PADNOS.”
