Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center Expansion

University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Eaton

Granger helped University of Michigan Health-Sparrow expand their cancer treatment and provide infusion services at Eaton Hospital, providing patients access to leading-edge cancer care closer to home.

The new Oncology and Infusion Center offers an improved patient experience through a centralized location and increased access to oncology, chemotherapy
and general/non-oncology infusions such as those used to treat infections, diet-based illnesses, allergies and more. This project provides the Charlotte-area community a direct connection to the
coordination of care and greater collaboration with the team of specialists at Sparrow’s world-class Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, including surgeons, radiologists, oncologists
and more.

On-site medical oncologists coordinate care for UM Health-Sparrow Eaton oncology patients, providing access to cutting-edge technology, including the ViewRay radiation
machine with a built-in MRI to safely treat tumors in hard-to-reach locations. This machine is one of fewer than 40 of its kind in the country, bringing leading innovations to the
Charlotte community.

The project also included a new parking lot and a dedicated entrance to the new Oncology & Infusion Center. All work was successfully completed directly adjacent to occupied spaces within the hospital.
