Tom Owens

Tom joined Granger in 2000 and currently serves as Director of Field Operations. In his role, Tom is a leader with Granger’s Construction Services Division, championing project planning, logistics and staffing. He also oversees Granger’s internal Yard & Shop and Lean Operations teams. Tom excels as a mentor for foremen and Superintendents around the company and represents the company in Union negotiations. Tom began his construction career as a Carpenter Apprentice and completed eight years as a Journeyman Carpenter before transitioning to the role of building trades superintendent. He has been involved in the construction of all types of facilities ranging from $1M to $150M and has a thorough understanding of the leadership needed to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. Tom holds multiple certifications, including MIOSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and is a Certified Labor Relations Leader.
