VDC Intern Responsibilities
Granger’s Virtual Design Coordinator (VDC) Interns are based at the Lansing, Michigan Headquarters and assist the in-house VDC team as well as various project teams. Their responsibilities include assisting with site and building layouts, 3D site logistics plans, building models and 3D mock-ups, augmented/virtual reality models and visualizations and research and development.
Application Process
It’s important to plan ahead. Granger typically extends summer internship offers during September through December of the preceding year. During that recruitment window, interested students can find available positions on our job board. Students wishing to inquire about internship opportunities outside the standard summer recruitment process can do so by emailing their resume and inquiry to our Human Resources team.
Required Qualifications
We look for the same values in our interns as we do in our full-time employees. Therefore, we prioritize applicants with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction, who listen and respond effectively and are enrolled in a Construction Management, Architectural, Civil Engineering or related degree program.
