2019 Bond

Granger Construction was hired to assist with the bond campaign and provide a variety of much-needed improvements to school district facilities and grounds following the Districts successful bond vote in May 2019. This project consists of 4 phases:

Phase 1: Completed August 2020

  • New synthetic field turf for the athletic playing surface
  • New track and event areas
  • Fencing and ADA compliant sidewalk around the track surface
  • LED lighting for the athletic field

Phase 2:

  • New Early Childhood Center with classrooms, library space, kitchen, gym/cafeteria (to be completed by August 2021)
  • Renton Junior High School will receive a new science classrooms addition, as well as renovations to the existing facility to improve lockers, restrooms, roof, exterior doors, MEP flooring, lighting and work to create a secured entry (to be completed by August 2021)

Phase 3:

  • Renovations and additions to Miller and Brown Elementary Schools
  • New classroom additions to each building, complete with furnishings
  • Building renovations to include secured entry, updated restrooms, MEP, PA/clocks, flooring, lighting, exterior doors, new roof and parking lots

Phase 4: 

  • Huron High School
  • Renovations to include secured entry, lockers, restrooms, locker rooms, PA/clocks, flooring, MEP, exterior doors, new roof and parking upgrades
  • upgrades to 4 STEM classrooms
