In July of 2000, Granger Construction completed construction of the new Jackson National Life Insurance Company Child Care Center. This center is located across the parking lot from the Jackson National Life office building.

This one-story building has separate classrooms for each age group. Each classroom has direct access to an outdoor playground with age-appropriate facilities. There is space for 112 children, broken down by age group: 12 slots for infants, 12 slots for toddlers, 16 slots for young preschoolers, 40 slots for older preschoolers, 12 slots for kindergartners and 20 slots for school-aged children.

The center is open Monday through Friday with a full-service kitchen that provides snacks and hot meals for the children. It has organized interest centers including art, blocks, dramatic play, floor toys, mathematics, music, reading, science, table toys and writing.
