In July of 1996, Granger construction began renovations and additions to the River Terrace Christian Church in East Lansing, Michigan, tripling the facility’s size.
The new entrance, lobby and gathering space welcome people and provide generous greeting space. New offices, meeting rooms, kitchen, restrooms, storage and an elevator were added.
A new gymnasium with wood floor provides an active space for recreational sports as well as teaching, fellowship and worship. Portable platforms offer staging flexibility, and new round tables accommodate large group meals.
A lower level addition includes classrooms, music room, kitchen, nursery, children’s worship center and restrooms.Fire protection piping was added throughout the building to meet current codes and HVAC; and new lighting was installed.
