After an extraordinary 41-year career in the construction industry, including 30 years of dedicated service at Granger, Tom Theis is retiring from his role as superintendent and closing a remarkable chapter defined by craftsmanship, leadership, and unwavering integrity.

for his steady leadership and exceptional follow-through, Tom consistently exemplified what it means to deliver high-quality work. There were no shortcuts
and no excuses, just results grounded in skill and integrity.
“I always appreciated Tom’s level-headed approach to any project,” said Brad Hesche, Granger’s Regional Vice President for West Michigan. “With over 40 years of experience, there isn’t much that he hasn’t built in his career. He was gifted at dissecting the most complicated construction types and working through a detailed plan with the team.”

Over his three decades at Granger, Tom touched nearly every project type the company has delivered. From data centers, wastewater treatment plants and corporate offices to K-12 schools, university facilities, corrections buildings, senior living communities, and healthcare projects, Tom has done it all, and he has done it with a standard of excellence that will continue to influence Granger for years to come.
